Hi, I'm Josh Goodwin! I'm a portrait and editorial photographer with over 10 years of experience based in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, just north of Charleston. I love creating images that are personal, intimate, and expressive. I strive to create a relaxed environment during shoots, and I encourage my clients to be themselves and have fun. I have had my work featured in several exhibitions, magazines, and digital campaigns.
Photography helps me express myself to the world. It allows me to show others the world through my eyes. Where I’m from, people are real, have flaws, and have something to say.
I love being able to help people tell their stories.
I always try to make every image that I produce better than the last one, and help each client that I work with feel comfortable in their own skin.

Headshots
A headshot is your calling card to the world. My clients leave with a headshot that not only puts them in their best light, but also is emotive and shows their personality.
This solo headshot session is either on location, in studio, in your own home, or anywhere else you can think of!
One finished digital headshot is included with your session fee, additional images are available for purchase/license.
Group rates are also available for teams and businesses.
Professional hair and make up is recommended and can be provided for a fee.
fine art portraits
The more creative of my portrait offerings include a wide range of styles from: Fine Art, Fashion, Conceptual, Lifestyle, Maternity, and Reportage.
Your portrait session can be either at the location of your choice, in studio, or in your own home.
All final images are delivered as finished Fine Art prints available in sizes ranging from 5"x7" all the way up to 40"x60".
Group rates are also available for couples.
Professional hair and make up is recommended and can be provided for a fee.
Brand content +
These images are geared towards professionals, brands, catalog work, editorials, and advertising.
My style and sensibilities will compliment your vision and I would be glad to help you tell the story of your brand or business.
All final images are delivered in hi res files for digital or print projects and come with approved basic commercial usage. Further rights are available for purchase.
Professional hair and make up is required and can be provided for a fee.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
I am located in moncks corner, South Carolina, and service the Charleston Metro area.
Do you travel?
Although I usually service the Charleston Metro area, I am available to travel at the IRS standard mileage rate (65 cents per mile). Locations further than Atlanta or Charlotte will require airfare.
do you shoot weddings?
Unfortunately, I rarely, if ever, shoot weddings.
do you retouch your images?
yes, some retouching is included in the editing process. My goal is to only use retouching as a tool to correct any temporary blemishes that may be present. I don't believe these tools should be used to completely alter someone's appearance. Depending on the assignment, including some fine art projects, different levels of retouching may or may not be applied.
WHEN DO I RECEIVE my PHOTOS?
Typical turn-around time for review of images is within one week. It could take one to two additional week(s) for revisions, printing, framing, and delivery or shipping if needed.
DO WE GET THE RAW FILES?
Raw/Unedited files are not available. I treat raw files as digital negatives and prints as the finished artwork. The editing and finishing of the image is an essential part of the artistic process for me.
DO WE GET DIGITAL FILES?
For headshots, digital versions of your final images are included with a print release. Licensing for the images is available for a fee.
For portrait and fine art work, only prints will be made available for purchase.
For commercial projects, additional usage rights to digital files may be purchased for a fee.
